"In our household, we like to have fun on birthdays. the big thing we do is we'll get a cake for the person celebrating the birthday.   But not an ordinary cake.   Here's an example.   For one birthday, I got a Barbie cake.   I'm a 38 year old man, but that's about what I expected from my wife and kids.   We love to joke around like that.   For our oldest son. when he turned 18, we got him a Teletubbies cake, you get the idea."
    "Well, for my wife's last birthday, I decided to do something more.   Sure, she got a funny cake....but this time, I also got her something serious.   Something that meant as much to me, giving it to her, as it did her receiving it.    It was the "Love to the Power of 2" pendant.   I wanted to suprise her.   She usually gets up earlier than I do for work, so I put the box with the pendant in it, on the seat of her car.    I slowly followed her out to the car and watched the expression on her face as she opened it and read the card.     Her eyes filled with tears and she smiled, hugged me and said, "Thank you".    That was all it took for me.    I KNEW that I did it right this time.    The whole day at work, she would show it off to all of her co-workers and tear up everytime.    She LOVES IT!!!     All the years that we've been married, buying the "Power of 2" pendant was the best present I've ever bought."
